Chronology of cameras Kodak

The Bantam Colorsnap survived until 1959, but its format 828, that it was one of the last to use, doomed it to a complete disappearance. It was replaced by a 135 unit, the Colorsnap 35, equivalent but using a much more widespread film.
The word "Bantam" disappeared. Normal, because it was an indication of the Format "828" named "Bantam".

A few years later, in 1962, it was modernized by the addition of a cell automatically controlling the exposure. The line of the unit became ugly with this addition, the proportions becoming unbalanced. We feel like facing the offspring of a cross between a late Brownie 127 and a Starmatic.

The only possible adjustments are those of the sensitivity by rotating the ring at the base of the lens and the distance through the front lens rotation. It has only one shutter speed. The cell thus modifies the aperture according to the specified sensitivity and the measured light.
